Echo Echo, is a piece that plays with the traditional pas de deux structure. Exploring intricate, complex and dynamic contemporary movement, a fresh take on tradition. It is heavily inspired by Caleb Arredondo beautifully haunting saxophone score, that is recorded in a parking lot and creates a unique acoustic sound. Echo Echo, delves into two people deconstructing their connection, to then finding each other again. It was premiered as part of Scottish Ballet’s 2024 Autumn Mixed Bill, and commissioned by Christopher Hampson, CEO and Artistic Director of Scottish Ballet. Danced beautifully by Scottish Ballet dancers, Kayla- Maree Tarantolo and Harvey Evans.
